A memorial service for Yvonne Marilyn McAfee Gentry, 90, of Logan will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 6th, 2025 at Harmony Baptist Church, Cody Wheeler officiating.

Mrs. Gentry passed away Monday, December 1st, 2025 at Cullman Regional Hospital. She was born October 11, 1935 to Robert A. & Chelsie Williams McAfee.  She loved to read her Bible, taught Sunday School and was Treasurer at church. She enjoyed listening to Charles Stanley and the Gaithers.  She taught elementary school for 33 years.  She loved cooking, loved her flowers,  and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenn Gentry; son, Mark Gentry; daughter-in-law, Cindy Lynn Hardesty Gentry.

Survivors include her grandson, Sean McAfee Gentry and her sister, Melissa Ann McAfee Harbison.
