Funeral service for Willie Mae Franklin, 94, of Cullman, will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Northbrook Baptist Church, with interment in Cullman City Cemetery, Pastor Keith Warden, Rev. Wintford Haynes, and Rev. Wade Maynard will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at the church.

Cullman Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.

Mrs. Franklin was born on June 22, 1930, to Odie M. and Cora L. French Daniel. She was a member of 7th Street Baptist and then Northbrook, where she was the oldest and longest surviving member of the church. She was a Sunday School teacher for years and enjoyed working at the Northbrook Caring Center and helping with the funeral meals at the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Myrl Franklin; sister, Mary Alice Kendrick; brothers, Walter Daniel and Bobby Joe Daniel.

Survivors include her son, Bobby (Pat) Franklin; daughter, Linda Franklin; sister, Martha (Wintford) Haynes; grandchildren, Ashley (Marty) Tilley, Josh (Brandi) Franklin; great- grandchildren, Lex Stricklyn, Addison and Bella Franklin; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
