The Funeral Service for William Boyd Duke, 86, of Logan, Alabama will be 2 PM, Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Prospect Church of Christ.  The visitation will be from 12 noon – 2PM prior to the service. Ministers officiating the service will be Kenneth Chapman and Kent Persall.  The interment will be in the Prospect Church of Christ Cemetery.

Mr. Duke was born November 18, 1936, to Ithama Swilling and Zema Webb Duke.  He passed from this life on June 26, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ithama Swilling and Zema Webb Duke; sister Marie Chapman; brothers, Wendell Duke, Doyal Duke and Robert Duke.

Mr. Duke is survived by his wife of 65 years, Delorise Duke; son, Johnny Duke; brothers, Monroe Duke and Delton (Donna) Duke; sister-in-law, Jackie Derrick; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
