Funeral service for Willa Dean Wilson, 96, of Hanceville will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, June 21, 2025, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Hopewell Cemetery, Larry Guthrie and Tim Zielinski officiating.

Mrs. Wilson was born April 6, 1929, to parents, William Henry & Aitery Mae Mcdowell. She was a sweet, caring, loving, giving person who loved her home and her family.  She was a very nurturing grandmother, great-grandmother, friend and neighbor.  She was an all-around great person, and she will be greatly missed.

Mrs. Wilson is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 71 years, Hershel Wilson, grandson, Gregory Brian Zielinski; brothers and sisters.

Survivors include her daughter, Patricia (Tim) Zielinski; granddaughter, Kimberly Ann (Shannon) Gibson; great-grandchildren, Brian (Kaylin) Zielinski, Xander Zielinski; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
