Funeral service for Wendy Thornton, age 50, of Cullman, will be Thursday, October 26, 2023 at 2 pm at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Hunter McBride and Pastor Johnathan Easterwood officiating.  Family will receive friends on Thursday from 12-2 pm.  Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Ms. Thornton passed from this life Tuesday October 24, 2023.  She was born March 31, 1973 to Gilbert Jerrell Hinkle and Patsy Rogers Hinkle.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Gilbert and Vera Hinkle and Dock and Helen Rogers; her husband, Chris Thornton.

She is survived by her parents; son, Lucas Thornton; daughters, Callie Thornton; bonus daughter, Danica Thornton; brothers Darren (Angie) Hinkle, and Joey (Becky) Hinkle; nieces, Colby Hinkle, and Karlie Hinkle.

Wendy attended Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church.  She loved spending time with her family and her dog, Millie. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
