Funeral service for Weda Buckelew Nails, age 85, of Vinemont, Thursday, August 29, 2024, at 12 p.m.at Cullman Funeral Home chapel, with Bro. Dennis Trimble and Bro. Tim Aris officiating.  The visitation will be from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the chapel.  Interment will follow the service at Ebenezer Cemetery.

Mrs. Nails was born February 6, 1939, to Gilbert Buckelew and Zettie Schultz Buckelew.  She passed away on Monday, August 26, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Travis Nails; brothers, Radginald Buckelew, and Virgil Buckelew.

She is survived by her son Mike Nails (Brenda); daughter, Julia Stricklin (Burl); one sister, Ann Vickers (Leland); grandchildren, Haylee Wooden (Kyle), Nailson Drew McAllister (Hannah), Morgan Nails (Jake), Micheala Haynes (Alex), Grant Nails (Peri), Lakin Terry (Chris), Presley Pace (Daniel), Brandy Widner, Leslie Brewer; great-grandchildren, Camden Moon, Harper and Madalyn, Eli Travis Wooden, Nash Nails, Hayes Nails, Jett Haynes, Gloria and Issac Behan, Lilly and Colby Widner, Cleo Chavarin, and  Harrington and Charlotte McAllister.

Pallbearers will be Nailson Drew McAllister, Kyle Wooden, Stephen Livingston, Shawn Bagwell, Alex Haynes, and Dustin Vickers.

Weda is remembered by family as being a wonderful wife, mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  She loved her grandkids and great grandkids so much.  She was a selfless, loving woman who always put other's needs before her own.  She will be missed by all who loved and knew her.
