Funeral service for Vickie Franklin Pierce, age 75, of Cullman, is Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at 2 pm at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be held from 1pm-2pm and interment will be at Forest Hill Cemetery in Memphis Tennessee.

Vickie was born on February 27, 1949, to Frank David Franklin and Roberta Driver Franklin.  She passed from this life on Sunday, July 14, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister; Katie Abel.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Raymond Pierce; son, Michael Travis Pierce (Lenore); sisters, Susie Dimmock (Robert), Lilia Schaeffer (William); Grandchildren, Grace Rosa, Katie Rosa, Hayden Pierce, Charlie Pierce, Rowan Pierce and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.

Vickie was married to Raymond for 57 years, and he referred to her as his "Lovely Dove". She was very affectionate and was always giving hugs. She was a Atlanta Braves fan, and loved animals, especially dogs. Vickie enjoyed sleeping in and was a night owl. She loved her family wholeheartedly and will be missed by those who knew and loved her.
