Funeral service with military honors for Vester Richard Cranford, Sr., 92, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 7 ^th , 2022 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Valley Springs Cemetery, Rev. Tim Box officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11-1 a.m. prior to the service.

Mr. Cranford passed away Saturday, December 3, 2022 at his residence.  He was born February 7, 1930 to Thomas Franklin & Icie Jane Cranford.  He was a member of Valley Springs Baptist Church.  He served his country in the United States Air Force and was in the secret service.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Carolyn Wynell Cranford; son, Vester Richard Cranford, Jr.; brother, Vernon Cranford and two sisters, Louise and Laura.

Survivors include his daughter, Denise Love; brother, Victor (Lois) Cranford; sister, Lorene Hamilton; grandchildren, Candice (Ryan) Stewart, Tony Love, Austin Cranford, Marinda (Kyle) Phelps; great-grandchild, Addison Stewart.
