Funeral service for Terry Wayne Bates, age 68, of Cullman, will be Monday, November 13, 2023 at 2 pm at Cullman Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Greg Wilbanks officiating.  Family will welcome friends from 12-2 pm.  Interment will be held at Bowman's Chapel cemetery.

Mr. Bates passed from this life on Thursday, November 9, 2023.  He was born December 14, 1954 to Floyd Donald Bates and Emma Jane Drinkard Bates.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Johns Bates.

He is survived by his son, Nicholas (Lori) Bates; brother, Randy (Glenda) Bates, Gary Bates, Ricky (Peggy) Bates; sister, Sheila (Krandell) Holloway; grandchild, Wilder Bates; nieces and nephews; family and friends.

Terry enjoyed hunting and owned his own business for many years.
