Graveside service for Susie Anne Lowrey, 72, of Dora was held July 17, 2023 at Friendship Methodist Cemetery.

Cullman Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Susie passed away July 13, 2023 at St. Vincent's Hospital.  She was born March 15, 1951 to Luther Edward & Eva Bartley. She was an educator in the Birmingham School System for 29 years.  She was a highly educated person with degrees from Hueytown High School, Jacksonville State University, University of Alabama at Birmingham and two advanced education degrees.  She enjoyed her dogs.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband of 24 1/2 years, Neil Lowrey; step-son, Jared Lowrey; step-daughter, Felicia Lowrey; family and friends.
