Memorial service for Steven Delane Smith, 56, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, August 11 ^th , 2022 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Wade Maynard officiating.

Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mr. Smith passed away July 31 ^st , 2022.  He was born November 29, 1965 to J.D. & Wanda Sue Hood Smith.  Steve loved all sports.  He played football at West Point High School.  After high school he attended R.E.T.S. technical school and pursued a career in electronic technology.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roxie & Bannie Smith and Oscar & Elsie Parker Hood.

Survivors include his parents, J.D. & Wanda Smith; son, Derrick Smith of Evansville, IN; daughters, Alannah Reibel of Indianapolis, IN, Alyssa Smith of Indianapolis IN; sister, Sharon Aldijaili; grandchildren; aunts and uncles, Andy & Joyce Hoenig, Donald & Linda Hood, Roxie & Gary Graham, James Smith, Vonda McGriff; niece, Christine Aldijaili; and a host of cousins, family and friends.
