Funeral service for Steve Witcher, age 74, of Cullman, AL, is Sunday, March 17, 2024 at 3 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home chapel, with Brian Witcher officiating.  Family will welcome friends from 1-3 pm.  Interment will follow at Berlin Cemetery (Mt. Carmel).

Steve was born to W.D. "Shorty" Witcher and Jeanette Hodge Witcher on August 16, 1949, and passed from this life on March 14, 2024.

He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Wendell (Wendy) Witcher, Donnie Wayne Witcher, Jon Gary (Red) Witcher.

He is survived by his sons, Jeffery Stephen Witcher, Chad (Shannon) Witcher; grandchildren, Allie Witcher, Zac (Brittni) Witcher, Kylie Witcher, Kennedy Witcher, Natalee Witcher, Maddie Witcher, Jon Luke Witcher; great-grandchildren, Liam Witcher, Logan Witcher; brother, Doug Witcher; companion, Sherry Gilley; a host of extended family and friends.

Steve loved to fish and went every chance he could.  He retired from a long career at S&W Drywall.  He was known and loved by many.  He will be missed.
