Funeral services for Shirley Louise Smith, 89, of Vinemont, will be at 12 p.m., Thursday September 4, 2025, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, with interment in Cullman Memory Gardens, Bro. Steve Rodgers and Jeff Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 11am-12pm before the service.

Mrs. Smith was born on April 12, 1936, to William D. and Florence Irene Bish Stephens. Shirley was a loving, Christian lady and a longtime member of Center Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her grandchildren, Lori Heather Smith and Michael Allen Smith; her parents; husband, Orval Smith; son, Michael Leroy Smith; daughter-in-law, Angela Smith.

Survivors include her sons, Steven Smith, Jeffery (Kathy) Smith, Eric (Pamela) Smith; sisters, Judith Ann Brock; step-sister, Kay (Dale) Kerby; numerous grandchildren; eleven great-granchildren; one great, great-grandchild; and a host of family and friends.
