Shirley Brown McSwain of Bremen, Alabama passed away on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the age of 73. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was born January 21, 1950.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Ruby Brown  and her father-in- law and mother-in- law; Verlon and Merle McSwain.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Danny McSwain; Daughters,  Belinda (Phillip) Nesmith, Darlynda (Jimmy)May,  Kimberly (Tim) Locke; son,  Kenneth (Tammy) McSwain; Grandchildren, JC (Macy) May, Justin (Haley)May, Whitney (Chase) Dean, Torrie (Jared) Rhodes,  Ashley(Chris) Blake, Sara (Ben) Cutcher, Wesley Jackson, Jordan (Madison) McSwain, Grace (Devan)Williams, a host of Great Grandchildren. Sisters, Marilyn Goodwin, Sandra (Donnie)Bradford, Pat Brown; Brothers, Billy(Carol) Brown, Morris(Linda) Brown, Byron(Leisa) Brown, Farrell(Kay)Brown; Sister-in-law, Shirlene(Reverend James) Abbott.

A graveside service for Shirley will be held Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Johnson's Grove United Methodist Church.
