Funeral service for Shannon Renae James, 45, of Hanceville will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 27th, 2023 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Beech Grove Cemetery.  Pastor Jason Murphy will officiate.  Visitation will be Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 5:30 – 8 p.m.

Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Mrs. James passed away Thursday, July 20th, 2023 at CRMC.  She was born November 30, 1977 to Kenneth Wayne Graveman and Charlotte Renae Williams McLain..  Shannon was very talented and outgoing.  She loved flowers, animals and sewing.  She could do anything she set her mind to do.  She was a member of Crosshaven Church.  Her daughter was her life!

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mary Chumley, George Otto Graveman, Jacqueline Bowen and an uncle, Anthony Williams.

Survivors include her husband of 22 years, Jeromy James; mother, Charlotte (Ronald) McLain, father, Kenneth Wayne (Brenda) Graveman; grandfather, James Ervin Chumley; daughter, Paisley Grace James; brothers, Steven McLain, Dave (Sanan) Johnston, Ronald (Jennifer)McLain, Jr.; sisters, Leslie (Kelly) Link, Alicia (Reetus) Young, Mary (Denny) Allums, Shanna McLain; nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Reetus Young, Steven McLain, Kelly Link, Dalton Johnson, Myles Johnson, Ayden Young.
