A Graveside service for Sally Sue Helring, 67, of Cullman will be 2PM, Monday, October 3, 2022, at Spring Hill Baptist Cemetery. Father John Trough of St. Benedict Traditional Roman Catholic Church will officiate the service.

Mrs. Helring, formerly of Scranton, PA, was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother who loved lighthouses, seashells, and gardening.  She was born October 13, 1954, to Marvin Ireland & Jane Myrtle Keith Smith.

Mrs. Helring was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Michael P. Helring; and her sister, Patricia.

She is survived by her children, Amanda Helring, Patricia (Greg) Van Wert, Mary (Rashad) Christmas, Catherine Helring, Michael A. Helring, and Bridget Helring; sister, Carolyn (Paul) Ritz; 8 grandchildren, Jared, Ethan, Hayden, Grace, Charles, Rory, Santino, and August; several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation be made to of St. Benedict Traditional Roman Catholic Church in Lacey Springs, Alabama.
