The Funeral Service for Rudy Bryan Cheatwood, 49, of Vinemont will be 1PM, Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Cullman Funeral Home.  The family will receive friends from 11am – 1PM prior to the service.  Rev. Dale Banks will officiate the service.  The interment will be in the Missionary Grove Cemetery.

Mr. Cheatwood was born October 21, 1973 to Rudy L. & Linda Faye Flack Cheatwood.  He passed from this life into the presence of the Lord on June 25, 2023 at UAB Hospital.  He was a Godly Christian brother and devoted son who loved being outdoors, riding his tractor, and loved his dogs.  He was the county engineer for Cullman County, and was the former engineer of Winston County.

Mr. Cheatwood was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Felton & Aurella Cheatwood, and William & Donia Flack.

He is survived by his brother, Shannon (Angie) Cheatwood; sisters, Gail Johnson, Debra ( Alan) Baker, Becky (Chris) Smith; Nieces and Nephews, Kyle ( Cindy) Graves, Seth (Kelly) Graves, Candace Graves, Blain Baker, Alain Edmondson (Lynn Brizendine), Memory Smith, Corbin Smith, Reagan Cheatwood, Emily Cheatwood, Kora Cheatwood; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Kyle Graves, Seth Graves, Blain Baker, Gavin Edmondson, Kayden Graves and Corbin Smith.
