Funeral service for Ricky Dewayne Yarbrough, 71, of Vinemont will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, July 16th, 2026 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Flint Creek Cemetery, Bro. Hollis Gardner officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday evening at the funeral home from 5-8 p.m.

Ricky Yarbrough, 71, of Vinemont, passed away on July 23, 2026 at UAB hospital surrounded by his family and friends. He was born June 25, 1955 to Clarence and Margie Yarbrough. To be around him and to know him was a gift. He will always be remembered for his infectious laughter, cutting up with whoever was around and his ability to make others smile. After a long day of work, nothing brought him greater happiness than returning home to his loving wife and children. Whether he was spending time with family, going fishing or rooting for the Alabama Crimson Tide, he created lasting memories that his loved ones will cherish forever. While we mourn his loss, we celebrate a life well lived and a man deeply loved. His legacy will continue through the values he has instilled, the lives he touched and the countless memories shared with those fortunate enough to know him. Forever loved, forever missed and forever remembered. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Ralph, Gary and Michael Yarbrough Sister: Barbara Ann Laney He is survived by his loving wife, Sarah, of 53 years. Daughter: Sabrina (Carl) Allen Sons: Ethan (Courtney) Yarbrough and Nathan (Jessica) Yarbrough. Brother: Roger (Kelly) Yarbrough Sister: Rita (Randy) Keller. And a host of extended family and friends. Pall Bearers: Izaac Yarbrough, Trevor Yarbrough, Mickey Gay, Matthew Gay, Aaron Howell and Clay Pruett. Honorary Pall Bearers: Heath Gardener and Wade Yarbrough The family would like to thank everyone for their kindness, support and continued prayers during this difficult time. A special thank you to all the staff of the UAB Liver team and the SICU staff.
