Funeral services for Randall Matthew "Matt" Smith, 68, of Cullman will be at 11 a.m., Monday,
December 23rd, 2024 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Pilgrim's Rest Baptist
Church Cemetery, Rev. Tim Aris and Rev. Delbert Freeman officiating. Visitation will be from 3-
8 Sunday at the funeral home.

Cullman Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Matt was born September 13, 1956 to Willard H. and Mary Lee Smith. He passed away Friday,
December 20th at Princeton Baptist Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his mother, Mary Will Lee Smith; brother, Mark (Karon) Smith; sister, Anita
(Keith) Williams; nephew, Patrick (Amanda) Smith; nieces, Tabitha (Josh) Brown, Lori Clark,
and Jessica (John) Rodgers; great-nieces and nephews, Selena Clark, Lydia Smith, Macie
Brown, Jax Rodgers, Charlie Smith, Walker Brown, Collin Clark, Jace Rodgers, Ava Claire Clark
and Carter Clark; great-great niece, Stella Rose Clark, and a host of family and friends.

Matt was an outdoorsman and enjoyed trail riding, hunting and fishing. He loved watching
Alabama football and basketball, but his greatest joy came from spending time with his family
and friends. He could always be found cheering on his great- nieces and nephews in whatever
sport they were playing and was always their biggest fan. He will forever be remembered and
loved.
