Ramon Howard Maples, age 82, of Cullman, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence.  No services are planned at this time.

Cullman Funeral Home is honored to serve the family.

Mr. Maples was born on June 19, 1942.  He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Timothy Tucker; brother, Phillip Maples.

He is survived by his loving wife of twenty years, Shirley Brock Maples; sons, Tony Maples, Roger Dale Maples, Duane Binkele (Christie); two daughters, Michelle Woljevach (Billy), Shelia Brown; special sister-in-law, Debbie Blackmon; several grandchildren; several brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews.

Family describes Mr. Maples as a one-of-a-kind man.  He was a skilled horseman, fisherman, coon hunter, and outdoorsman, all around.  He was a kind soul and was a good husband, father, and grandfather to his family.  He was the kind of person who would help anyone he could.  He will be greatly missed.
