Memorial service for Rachel Hannah Yates, 75, of Cullman will be at 6 p.m., Monday, May 22nd, 2023 at Pleasant View Baptist Church with Bro. Earl Harper officiating.

Rachel passed away May 18, 2023. She was born July 5, 1947 to Joseph Marcus & Cordia Leona Pepper Yates.

Rachel was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Marvin Yates, and a sister, Helen Yates.

She is survived by daughters, Amelia (Dustin) Wisener, Janette (Scotty) Hipp, Jayla Chambers; brother, Vandall Yates; sisters, Jackie Yates, Sharon Beasley, Jo Nelson, Alyne Sibenaler; sister-in-law, Carolyn Yates; grandchildren, Cody Wisener, Louis Hipp, Crimson Hipp, Dominique Hipp, Veronica (Justin) Taylor, Anthony Faronea; great-grandchildren, Pepper Taylor, Adrian Taylor; family and friends.

Rachel was a loving mother and grandmother. She lived her life for the Lord and was a member of Decatur SDA Church. She had a beautiful voice, loved music and taught piano. She was a great cook and enjoyed cooking for others.
