Patrick "Dane" Shockley, age 37, of Arley, passed away on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at his residence.  There are no services planned at this time.

Dane was born on December 7, 1986, to Larry and Helen Shockley.

He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Shockley; grandparents, Woody Stokes, and Clifford and Gladys Shockley.

He is survived by mother, Helen Shockley; daughter, Kensley "Kin-kin" Shockley; brothers, Shane Shockley and Chad Shockley; grandmother, Levern Stokes Laney; fiancé, Jessica Jacobes; mother-in-law, Sam Jacobes; a host of nieces and nephews, cousins, family and friends.

Dane's mother, Helen, remembers him as a good baby and a wonderful son.  He was laid back, quiet, polite, and caring.  He loved his family and his neighbors and always made their well-being a top priority.  He loved baseball, collecting baseball cards, fishing, hunting arrowheads, and all genres of music.  He loved seafood, fruit, sour candy, and Twizzlers.  He was one of a kind and he will be missed greatly by all who loved him.
