Funeral service for Helen Patricia Denton Gorff, age 73, of Cullman, is Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 11 am at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will be held from 9-11 am at the chapel and interment will be at Ebenezer Cemetery.

Helen was born on October 1, 1950, to Herschel Denton and Martha Cansas Glover Denton.  She passed from this life on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Huntsville Hospital, surrounded by family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Edward Gorff.

She is survived by her son, Lawrence Gorff; daughter, Danielle Teichmiller (Joey); brother, Roger Danny Denton; sister, Velma Mabry (Jim); grandchildren, Austin Teichmiller (Shelby), Cheyenne Spears (Nathan), Cody Gorff (Morgan), Vivian Gorff, Anastasia Gorff (Max), Zoey Ballenger, Kiara O'Steen; great-grandchildren, Alex Spears, Lane Spears, Abel Spears, Fred Gorff, Bentley Martinez, Zayne Teichmiller, Aylin Teichmiller; a host of family and friends.

Helen loved scrapbooking and shopping.  She really enjoyed Elvis's music as well.  Her family will always remember that she gave them the best gift of all, her time.  She will be very missed by all who loved and knew her.
