Funeral service for Oscar Kenneth Freeman, 84, of Cullman, will be at 1 p.m., Thursday, April 17, 2025, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Antioch Cemetery, Pastor David Hadley and Pastor Mike Eaton officiating. The family will receive friends from 11am-1pm before the service.

Mr. Freeman passed away peacefully on April 13, 2025. He was born on October 4, 1940 to parents, Oscar W. and Maybell Brown Freeman.

Oscar was a devoted husband to Sue Freeman for 64 years, a proud father to Lashay Allen and Rex Freeman, and a loving grandfather to Stephanie and Tori Hollis, and great-grandfather to DaKoda Hollis. He is also survived by his sisters Esther, Jannie, and Faye, and his brother Bobby. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother Doc.

A longtime truck driver, Oscar loved farming, horseback riding, hunting, and fishing. He was known for his playful mischief and knack for giving nicknames to everyone he loved.

Pallbearers will be Shannon Osgood, Danny Denton, Josh Denton, Jason Hadley, Bobby Nolen, and Larry Gorff.
