Nicky Leon McClendon
Nicky Leon McClendon, 61, of Vinemont, Alabama, passed away peacefully on September 23, 2026. He was born on January 13, 1965.
Nicky was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving him.
Nicky is survived by his beloved wife, Annette McClendon; his sons, Lyle McClendon (Hannah) and Zac McClendon; his granddaughter, Layla; his sister, Melissa Mann (Brent) and nephew Alex McClendon (Kamden) Mann.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Kay McClendon.
Nicky found joy in the simple things in life and especially loved spending time outdoors. He enjoyed panning for gold, fishing, hunting, and raising his coon dogs. These hobbies reflected his adventurous spirit and his appreciation for being outside and enjoying the things he loved.
Above all, Nicky will be remembered for the love he had for his family and the memories he created with them. His presence will be greatly missed, but the love and memories he leaves behind will remain in the hearts of his family and friends forever.

Memorial services will be held on Sunday, September 27, 2026, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home, 461 U.S. Hwy 278 E, Cullman, AL   35055.
