Funeral service for Nelwin Annette Taylor, age 85, of Hanceville, will be Wednesday, November 22, 2023 at 12 pm at Good Hope Baptist church, with Pastor Jim Sawyer officiating.  Family will welcome friends from 11 am -12 pm.  Interment will be held at Shelton Grove Cemetery in Dodge City.

Mrs. Taylor passed from this life on Sunday, November 19, 2023.  She was born September 22, 1938 to Oscar Pierce and Nellie Mallard Pierce.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William H. Taylor; sister, Mary Cooksey.

She is survived by son, William (Pamela) Houston Taylor, Jr. and Stephen (Jessica) Taylor; daughter, Freda (Reggie) Clarke; sister, Patsy Earnest; grandchildren, Kara McAnnally, Ryan Taylor, Ethan Taylor, Emily Taylor, Lauren Taylor, Elijah Taylor; great-grandchildren, Nate Taylor, Jake Taylor, Beau McAnnally.

Annette, as he was known to all, was a member of Good Hope First Baptist church.  She was an active singer in the choir and was a Sunday school teacher.  She was a regular volunteer at church as well.  Annette's passion was fishing.  She was a wonderful fisherwoman and liked to go every chance she got.  She was a very unique and independent woman who loved life and lived it to the fullest.  She will be very missed by all those who knew and loved her.
