Mr. Buchanan was born January 13, 1944 to Luther Buchanan and Anna Perdue Buchanan.  He passed from this life on December 8, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Louann Knighten and Leona Johnston.

Survivors include one son, Joseph Keith Buchanan; three grandchildren, Clarissa Quick, Morgan Fraley, and Summer Elkins; five great-grandchildren.
