Graveside service for Nedra Joyce Blackwood Smith, 81, of Cullman, will be Monday, November 6, 2023 at 2 pm at Cullman Memorial Gardens, with Bro. Craig Johnson officiating.

The family is asking in lieu of flowers, donations me made to the American Cancer Society.

Mrs. Smith passed from this life on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.  She was born June 22, 1942 to Robert David Blackwood and Virginia Estelle Martin Blackwood.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Wayne Smith, Sr.; infant daughter; brothers, Roy Blackwood, Eual Blackwood, Billy Ray Blackwood; sisters, Ruth White, Sylvia Taylor, Geraldean Goodwin.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth "Kenny" (Donna-Marie) Wayne Smith; sister, Faynell Rosenbalm; sister-in-law, Dawn Powers; a host of nieces and nephews; family and friends.

Nedra loved her family very much and was always there for them, no matter what.  She loved her dogs, Bear and Bambi as well.  She will be very missed by all who knew and loved her.
