Nathaniel P. “Hutch” Hutchinson, age 87, of Hanceville, passed from this life on Thursday, July 2, 2026. A celebration of life for Hutch will be held at a future date. The family welcomes all friends and family to attend to remember Hutch.

.Nathaniel was born March 4, 1939, to John F. Hutchinson and Patsy R. Hutchinson.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 47 years, Judy F. Hutchinson; and his brother, John F. Hutchinson Jr. He is survived by his son, Daniel Hutchinson (Elizabeth); daughter, Tonya Skates; and his grandchildren, Andrew Skates, and Isabella Hutchinson .Hutch was a retired project manager, surveyor, and civil engineer, who worked with T&K Construction for many years. He was a loyal member, former administrator of the Cullman chapter of the Moose Lodge, and a member of the Moose Legion. He enjoyed chess, poker, computers, applying his mental talents to problems big and small, and cheering on the University of Florida Gators. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
