Funeral service for Nancy Carol Nobinger, age 79, of Athens, will be Thursday, October 19, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home chapel, with Rev. Wade Maynard officiating.  Visitation will be held from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Thursday.  Interment will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery,.

Mrs. Nobinger passed away Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at her residence.  She was born June 20, 1944 to Joseph Howard Thomas and Deloros Brindle Thomas.

She was a member of Lindsay Lane Baptist Church and Northbrook Church.  She was also a member of Cullman Civitan for many years.  She loved shopping, eating out, socializing with her friends, and being with her grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Nobinger; One brother; One sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Nicole (Joseph) Hoenig; grandchildren, Ethan (Karla) Hoenig, and Evan Hoenig; family and friends.
