Obituary

Nancy Bryan, 83, of Cullman, Alabama, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on August 3rd, at Cullman Regional Medical Center.
Born March 15, 1943, in Cullman Alabama, to Lowell and Vivian Turner. Nancy grew up in the Jones Chapel area and married the love of her life Martin Wayne Bryan  and was faithfully married for 59 years. Her home supplied a warm refuge for her kids, grandkids and great grandkids, where the door was always open and food was always in the fridge or cabinet!

Nancy graduated from Wallace State cosmetology school and served the Sardis community as a beautician for 40 years. Her beauty shop was known for a pleasant atmosphere where she continuously offered joy and friendship to all her clients. She also loved to raise flowers, often supplying others with floral grave decorations among other things. Nancy was never shy about her faith in Jesus, standing ready to share with anyone the hope that was within her. She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and love for her family. Her outspokenness, laughter and loyalty were gifts to everyone who knew her!”

Nancy was preceded in death by her Husband Martin Wayne Bryan, her parents Lowell and Vivian Turner and one sister and two brother in laws; Eva (Ezra) Woodard and Houston Bryan.
She is survived by two children; Rhonda and Tim Bryan, grandchildren; Jeremy (Alana) Bartlett, Chris (Kristin) Bartlett, Wes (Patricia) Bryan and Jake Bryan. 12 great grandchildren; Michael (Riley) Bartlett, Lacie (Brady) Sherrell, Kole Bartlett, Jacee Bartlett, Madalynn, Malachiah, Judah, EttaGrace, Eden Bartlett, Peyton and Triton Bryan and Jackson Bryan. 4 brothers; Dillard, Jerry, Ronald, and Randy Turner. 2 sisters; Elaner (Billy) Paris, Shirley Bryan. Along with a host of nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at Sardis Baptist Church on Thursday August 6th at 2pm. Bro. Chris Bartlett, Bro William McClellan and Bro Barry Thomas officiating. The family will receive friends at the church from 12-2 p.m. prior to the funeral.  Interment will be in the adjoining cemetery.
