Funeral services for Mildred Virginia Gordon, 86, of Hanceville, will be at 2 p.m., Monday August 11, 2025, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Eric Hixon and Ronnie Nolen officiating, with interment in Bethlehem East Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12-2pm before the service.

Mrs. Gordon was born on December 16, 1938, to Wilton Adam and Verdie Lee Harvell Nolen. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and a wonderful sister. Mildred was the protector of her family, very outgoing and a natural caregiver. She loved working outside and was a hard worker.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Welton "Doffus" Nolen; sisters, Doris Clark and Kathy Green.

Survivors include her son, Anthony Gordon; brothers, Bobby (Ann) Nolen, Ronnie (Donna) Nolen, Donald Ray Nolen; sister, Berdie Lee (Sonny) Hixon; grandson, Tyler Gordon; sister-in-law, Delene Nolen and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Nolen, Ronnie Nolen, Donald Nolen, Lance Nolen, David Woodard and D.J. Woodard.
