Funeral service for Micheal Wayne Sterling, 61, of Hanceville will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Fairview West Cemetery, Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating.  Visitation will be Friday evening at the funeral home from 5:30 – 8 p.m.

Mr. Sterling passed away Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at his residence.  He was born January 13, 1964 to Ronald Wayne & Nella Dean Ballard Sterling.  He loved fishing, dirt track racing cars. He was a loving person that loved his family and was a great husband and father.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Sterling.

Survivors include his wife, Rachel Sterling; son, Austin Shadrick; daughters, Misty Forester, Kate Sterling; sister-in-law, Connie Sterling; nephew, Timothy (Jordyn) Sterling; aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
