Funeral service for Michael Ray Butler, 41, of Hanceville will be at 1 p.m., Monday, May 8th, 2023 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in McKinney's Chapel Cemetery, Pastor Dewayne Harbison officiating. Visitation will be Sunday evening at the funeral home from 5:30 – 8 p.m.

Michael passed away Thursday, May 4th, 2023 at CRMC. He was born July 20, 1981 to James Butler and Cheri Grace Ortiz. He loved Alabama football "Roll Tide!". He loved country music, playing his X-Box and talking on the phone. He was always happy and smiling.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Warden Grace, Janis Simmons; father, James Ray Butler; sister, Michelle Butler; uncle, Barry Joe Grace.

Survivors include his mother, Cheri (Augustin) Ortiz; brothers, Jeffrey (Sabrina) Butler, Angelo Ortiz; sisters, Tiffany Butler, Hali Ortiz, Laura (Dennis) Gupton; uncles, Vaughn Grace, Warren Grace (Carmen), Teddy Grace; family and friends.
