Funeral service for Mary Jane Gregg Beavers, age 88, of Cullman, is Thursday, March 7, 2024 at 2 pm at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church No.1 in Boaz, with Pastor Terrell Boyd officiating.  Mrs. Beavers will lie in state at the church from 12-2 pm.  Interment will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

Jane was born April 10, 1935 to Eddie Gregg and Elzora Roberson Gregg.  She passed from this life on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Eddie Gregg and Elzora Roberson Smith; husband, Robin Beavers; daughter, Joyce Gaskin; grandson, Wade Jones.

She is survived by one son, Mitch Kornegay; one daughter, Sonya Jones; one brother, Morris Gregg; grandchildren, Tonya Akers (Nicky), and Matt Kornegay; great-grandchilren, LaShea Akers, Zachary Akers, Nicholas Akers, Hannah Denise Jones, Ava Jones, and Austin Eugene Jones; and a host of family and friends.

Jane was a family-oriented lady who deeply loved her children and grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed.
