Martha Grace Jetton, age 83, resident of Hayden, Alabama, passed away on

Wednesday, September 16,2026.

Martha was a member of the graduating class of 1961 at McAdory High School where

she received two varsity letters in cheerleading. She went on to attend the University of

Alabama and earn a B.S. Degree in Bacteriology from the School of Chemistry. After

receiving her degree, she studied to become a Registered Medical Technologist and

made a career of 25 years at UAB Hospital in the Hematology Lab. Martha loved

photography and spending time outdoors. She loved to photograph nature scenes and

share the beauty with others.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Arthur Sylvester and Bertha Merritt Jetton, her

son, Jeffery Jetton, five brothers and one sister. She is survived by her brother, James

Luther Jetton, and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Memorial Service will be held at Cullman Funeral Home, Cullman, AL on Saturday,

September 26 th at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to The Gideons
