Martha Faye Gentry Smith "Faye", Age 82, died peacefully in her home March 10, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.  Faye was preceded in death by her parents, C B & Ruby Gentry; brothers, Glenn Gentry and Ray O'Neal Gentry and Roger Gentry; brother-in-law, Norman Crider; sister-in-law, Helga Gentry.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry C. Smith, Sr., sons, Jerry C. (Vicki) Smith, Jr., Christopher G. (Becky) Smith; sister, Beverley Gentry Abercrombie; grandchildren, Whitney Smith (Justin) Shubert, Memory Smith and Corbin Smith; brother-in-law, Dock Abercrombie; sisters-in-law, Brenda Gentry, Yvonne Gentry, Judy Smith Crider; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Faye and Jerry were entrepreneurs founding His and Her Shoes, Dollar Discount and Noble Ridge Plaza.  She served her Lord and Savior at Destiny Church and dearly loved her church family.

Her Funeral Service will be 2 pm, Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Destiny Church (566 County Road 1339, Cullman, AL). Visitation will be 11am – 2 pm prior to the service.  Pastor Fred Rivers will officiate the service.  The interment will follow at Cullman Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers are Corbin Smith, Justin Shubert, David Holmes, John Crider, M.D., Garey Shoemaker, and Greg Gentry.
