Funeral service for Margie Sue Hanson, 68, of Falkville will be at 2 p.m., Monday, November 24th, 2025 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12-2 p.m.

Mrs. Hanson passed away Thursday, November 20th, 2025 at her residence.  She was born September 22, 1957 to Alfred Cecil & Pearl Marie Johnson Collier.  She was an amazing, strong woman with a heart of gold.  She loved her family and she never gave up on life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary Anne Collier, Patricia Ann Seagroves; brother, Gary Collier.

Survivors include her son, Johnny Lee (Jean) Hanson; daughter, Angela Thomas (Kenneth Brown); siblings, Charleston Collier, Brenda Collier, Junior Collier, Lee Collier, Paul Collier; grandchildren, Courtney (Johnathan) Reed, Christopher Thomas, Katie Thomas, Shawn Hanson, Cody Hanson, Amber Hanson; great-grandchildren, Kalila Thomas, Conner Reed, Zoii Cordes, Eva Thomas, Ava Thomas, Drake Hanson; uncle, Larry Collier;  many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
