Obituary

Funeral service for Louie Harbison, 91, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 6 th , 2022 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Robert Lancaster officiating.  Visitation will be from 12-2 prior to the service.

Cullman Funeral Home is honored to serve the Harbison family.

Mr. Harbison passed away Sunday, April 3 rd , 2022 at his residence.  He was born July 16, 1930 to Elmer T. & Ethel Dora Bates Harbison.  He was a member of St. Andrews Methodist Church for many years; served his country in the United States Air Force and was retired from civil service.  Louie loved bluegrass music and played the mandolin since childhood.  He was a famous tea cake maker, gardening was his passion and being a BFF to his wife, Frances was his focus in life.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 67 years, Frances Harbison; infant son, Dudley Harbison; brothers, Chalmer Harbison, Elwin Harbison.

Survivors include his son, Brian (JoAnn) Harbison; daughter, Cheryl (William) Chapman; brother, Leo Harbison; grandson, Andrew Chapman; nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests making donations to the Traveling Saints Bus Fund at St Andrews Methodist Church.
