Funeral service for Lorene Earline Brown, age 99, of Cullman, is Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Jones Chapel First Baptist Church, officiated by Bro. Chris Chambless.  Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. and Mrs. Brown will lie in state on Thursday at the church from 12-2 p.m.  Interment will follow at Jones Chapel Cemetery.

Lorene was born on May 3, 1925, to Earl Williams and Essie McGee Williams.  She passed away on Monday, December 30, 2024, at her residence, surrounded by her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.P. Brown; grandson, Jeremy Sams; and brother, Alvie Williams.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Brown (Laura); daughter, Linda Sams; grandchildren, Lenisa Hutson (Stephen), Whitney Dyer (Matt), Cole Brown (Gracie); great grandchildren, Savana Cooke (Delton), Brody Sams, Fisher Dyer, Emmi Dyer; great-great grandchild, Emery Jean Cooke.
