Funeral service for Lindsey Allen Self, 83, of Hanceville, will be at 11 am, Friday, May 23, 2025, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Prospect Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 5:30-8 pm at the funeral home.

Mr. Self was born on May 1, 1941, to parents, Reubin Ottis and Bertha Triptau Self. He was a member of South Cullman Church of Christ. Mr. Self was a poultry farmer and loved hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Faynelle Self; son, Kevin (Tina) Self; daughter, Robyn (Joey) Overton; grandchildren, Dallas (Thomas) Denmark, Travis Self, Jessi (Richard) Cassella, Joshua (Rachel) Overton, Cassie (Jonathan) Speegle; six great-grandchildren with one on the way; and a host of family and friends.
