Funeral service for Linda Gail Speegle, 78, of Vinemont, is Friday, January 5, 2024 at 1 pm at Panama Baptist Church, with Bro. Delwin Kilgo and Bro. Larry Duke officiating.  Mrs. Speegle will lie in state at the church from 11 am -1 pm on Friday.  Visitation will be held at Cullman Funeral Home Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 5-7 pm.  Interment will follow the funeral on Friday at Bethlehem West Baptist Church.

Linda was born June 12, 1945, to David Benefield and Myrtie Milligan. She passed from this life on Monday, January 1, 2024.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Hobert Benefield, Hollis Benefield; sister, Wilda Benefield.

Survivors include her loving husband of 58 years, 7 month, and 3 days, James H. Speegle; one son, Jammie Speegle; one daughter, Anna (Wesley) Lawler; brother, Verlie Benefield; sister, Freda Johnson; three grandchildren, Tyler Speegle, Elijah Lawler, Sadie Lawler; a host of family and friends.

Linda was a loving and faithful wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She loved her church so much.  She enjoyed travelling and enjoyed helping James help others and build churches for many years.  She will be very missed by all who knew and loved her.
