Levi was born on March 8, 1980, in Cullman, Alabama, and passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 20, 2025, in Dayton, Tennessee.
A devoted husband and father, Levi shared 22 years of marriage with his wife, Jessica. He was a proud and loving father to their two children, Sydney and Peyton.
Levi was the beloved son of Peggy Calvert and the late Bobby Calvert, and son-in-law to John and Lynn Huggins. He is survived by his sister, Keri Calvert, and brother, Seth Calvert (Magen); sisters-in-law Jennifer Nugent (Heath) and Jamie MacQuinn (Will); nieces Kylie, Leah, Riley, and Skylar; nephews Hayden, Garrett, and Malachi; and numerous extended family members, lifelong friends, and military brothers.
Levi proudly served in the United States Army as a Cavalry Scout for four years, including a deployment to Iraq. He was a passionate Alabama football fan and cherished time spent with family and friends. He was a huge video game fanatic and enjoyed playing games with his children. He had the great ability of teaching others new skills and a way of passing on his knowledge to others, especially farm work with his children. Known for his big heart, quick wit, and unapologetic sarcasm, Levi had a gift for making people laugh and always being there when someone needed a friend.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him.
