Leo Junior Himmel, age 80, of Joppa, passed from this life on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at his residence. There are no services planned at this time.

Leo was born February 14, 1944, to Leo Michael Himmel and Agnes Benjamin Himmel in Brown City, Michigan, where he will also be laid to rest.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dee Himmel; and infant great-granddaughter.

He is survived by his son, Leo M. Himmel (Carrie); daughters, Victoria Robison (John), and Angie Himmel; brothers, Max Himmel (Kathy), Mike Himmel (Glenda); sisters, Virginia McMann (Donald, deceased), Shirley Wood (Roger), Jean Geister (Martin, deceased); grandchildren, Leo J. Himmel, Nickolas Himmel, Dalton Robison (Destini), Brandon Robison, Colton Robison, Scott Kayl, Kayla Scruggs (Dustin), McKenzie Kayl, Dustin Kayl, Krista Kayl, Eric Miller, and Kate Miller; great-grandchildren, Saige Robison, Parker Robison, Annabelle Scruggs, Andrew Scruggs; a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
