Graveside services for Larrell Lavone Hill, 80, of Cullman, will be at 11 a.m., Monday September 8, 2025, at Welcome Baptist Cemetery, Bro. Steve Rodgers and Bro. Carl Malin officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:30-10:30am before the service.

Mr. Hill was born on November 27, 1944, to Melvin and Rosetta Hill. Larrell was known as the "Shoeshine Man" in Cullman. He worked for Sundrop Co. and on the construction crew that helped build the Cullman Co. Courthouse.

Mr. Hill was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Edna Lois Pierce Hill; brother, Buford Dwayne Hill.

Survivors include his daughter, Daphne (Tim) Riggs, grandchildren, Ryan McDugald (Kimberly Ruddick) of UK, Aaron (Kayla) McDugald; great-grandson, Preston Jason Paul Ruddick; first cousin, Nell Barbee; second cousin, Donna Lott; and a host of family and friends.
