The Funeral Service for Kenneth Larry Ray, 78, of Cullman will be at 2PM, Thursday, December 29, 2022, at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation will be Wednesday, December 28, 2022, from 6-8pm at Cullman Funeral Home.  Reverend Tim Aris will officiate the service.  The interment will follow in Bethsadia Cemetery.

Mr. Ray was born February 23, 1944 to Alfred Coleman & Zelma Odell Phillips Ray.  He passed from this life on December 26, 2022, at Cullman Regional Medical Center.  He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.  He loved all sports, coached all of them and also coached from the stands.  He was their biggest critic and biggest supporter.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his infant grandchildren, Weston Ray Riggs, Adalaya Ray Riggs; and his brother-in-law, Jim Huff.

Mr. Ray is survived by his wife of 47 years, Virginia Brown Ray; sons, Eugene (Tammy) Ray, Shannon (Leisha) Johnson, Ricky (Nicole) Ray; daughters, Sherietta (Stephen) Riggs, Tanya (Sean) Callahan;  brothers, Wendell (Myra) Ray, Huey ( Lora) Ray; sisters, Jean (Mickey) Speegle, Darlene Huff; grandchildren, Cody (Brooke) Ray, Austin (Makayla) Ray, Lance & Landon Ray, Blake Johnson & Kaitlyn Johnson (Jake Boatright), Parisa & Addie Callahan, Stetton & Sawyer Riggs, Wesley & Delanie Sigala;  great grandchildren, Oakley Ray, Walker Ray, Lauren Ray, J.W. Ray, Lakely Boatright; extended family, Alan Johnson, Michael Johnson and family.

The pallbearers will be Cody Ray, Landon Ray, Austin Ray, Blake Johnson, Lance Ray, and Wesley Sigala.
