Funeral service for Kayla Brook Sears, 25, of Cullman will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, June 11th, 2025 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Mt. Olive Cemetery, Bro. Chris Kitchens officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11-1 p.m.

Kayla passed away Sunday, June 8th, 2025 at her residence.  She was born November 23rd, 1999 to Danny William Sears and Laura Renae Swann.  She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her children.  She loved to watch her dad race cars.  Kayla was a free spirited individual, she loved nature and quiet,  She loved taking her kids to the river.

She was preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Blain Sears; great-grandparents, Maudie & Grady Bryson; grandfather, Danny Sears.

Survivors include her great-grandmother, Naomi Hilton; grandmother, Janet Powe; grandmother, Sherri Sears; mother, Laura Swann; father, Danny Sears; children, Oaklyn, Wilder, Luke; brother, Ethyn Sears; sisters, Karlee Sears, Ensley Smith; uncles, Timothy (Amy) Sears, Patrick Sears; great-uncle and aunt, Martin & Karen Sears; a host of cousins, family and friends.
