Funeral service for Karen Lynn Rogers, age 59, of Cullman is Sunday, January 5, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Cullman Funeral Home chapel with Bro. Malcolm Carter officiating.  Visitation will be held at the chapel from 1-2 p.m. Interment will be held at Baldwin Heights Baptist Church Cemetery.

Karen was born on November 24, 1965, to Dale Rogers and Joan Swann Rogers.  She passed away on Friday, January 3, 2025, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama.

She is preceded in death by her father, Dale Rogers; grandparents, Carl and Edna Swann; grandparents, Doc and Helen Rogers.

She is survived by her mother, Joan Swann Rogers; one son, Nichlos Harbison (Brandy); one daughter, Christina Harbison; one brother, Terry Rogers (Dana); grandchildren, Christian Harbison, and Emerie Harbison; nieces and nephews, Katie, Austin, and Lane; and a host of family and friends.

Family remembers Karen as a compassionate and caring woman.  She never spoke ill of anyone and always wanted everyone to be treated fairly and with love.  She loved her job as an LPN and was eager to help her patients every day.  She loved her family and her grandchildren very much.  She enjoyed listening to Southern Gospel music, watching movies, and she loved her dog, Maggie.  She was a very special person and was taken from us too soon.  She will be missed dearly.
