Funeral service for Joseph Alvin Byrd, 84, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Monday, March 28 ^th , 2022 at Cullman Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Etha Cemetery, Rev. Steve Rodgers officiating.  Visitation will be from 12-2 on Monday.

Mr. Byrd passed away Friday, March 25 ^th , 2022 at his residence.  He was born June 24, 1937 to Leonard D. & Margaret Lettie Thompson Byrd.  He loved bluegrass music and attending music festivals.  He loved to grow vegetables and sell them at Festhalle Market.  He was definitely a people person.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Edna Byrd; sister, Ilene Julian; son-in-law, Keith Crumbley.

Survivors include his daughters, Deborah Crumbley, Melissa (Phil) Earp; brother, Jerold Byrd; sisters, Jean (David) Bagdasarian, Mary Estes; grandchildren, Matthew Crumbley, Cody (Jessica) Woodall, Connor Earp; great-grandchild, Gavin Woodall; family and friends,
