Funeral service for Jonell Russell Anders, 88, of Cullman will be at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 20th, 2023 at Mission Grove Baptist Church with interment in the adjoining cemetery.  Revs. Hollis Gardner and Shane Hicks will officiate.  Visitation will be Saturday evening at the church from 5-7 p.m. and on Sunday from 1-2 p.m. prior to the service.

Mrs. Anders passed away Thursday, August 17th, 2023 at CRMC.  She was born April 18, 1935 to James Roy & Annie Ruby Wilson Russell.  She was a charter member of Mission Grove Baptist Church.  She was one very loved lady and she loved everyone.  Her prayers got many through their lives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ollis H. Anders; daughters, Debbie Herron, Anna Denise Anders; sister, Odell Thomas.

Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda (Jay) Merrill; grandchildren, Ray (Amanda) Brown, Brandy (Josh) Early, Justin (Nicole) Brown, Daniel Merrill; great-grandchildren, Allyssa, Thomas, Michael, Mackenzie, Katelyn, James, Riley; great-great grandchildren, Colton, Levi, Andrew, Bo; family and friends.
